Run up to people you don't like and sneeze in their faces. You might as well get something out of it all. Possibly a punch, so you may want to run away quickly after doing it.

Sadly, I'm out in the middle of nowhere! I could sneeze in the dogs' faces, but that seems cruel somehow. Otherwise, I would definitely take your advice.

I have so been there. Usually it's in the middle of a meeting, too, and I spend the entire time reassuring everyone that I don't have a cold and I'm not spreading germs. Because it's not bad enough feeling crappy and horrible without everyone giving you suspicious looks and interrogating you, "Are you SURE you're not coming down with something?"

Allergies! Evil!!!!

When I was in classes, this would happen at least once a week, and it invariably happened on a day when I had a seminar with a professor who ran a very tight ship and always seemed to be disapproving of something. (Seriously, she was--and still is--incredibly intimidating to be around.) I'd try to muffle my sneezing and coughing as best I could, and it was 90 minutes of misery and humiliation until I could escape.
