turkeys!

Those of you who have known me for a while know that I have a very great fondness for turkeys. Specifically, the wild turkeys who live near my parents' house, and who are also the inspiration for my SGA turkey!verse (see links above, and yes I know I am insane). Aren't they cute? It is the highlight of my day when they come marching by.

Oooh, which one do you suppose is Rodney? I figure he's the one in the rear who looks like he's still standing there trying to decide if he should follow - or if John's leading them the right way this time. Yay for the turkey 'verse!

I think so! He's actually looking in the direction of the crabapple tree (where the turkeys spend a lot of time in late fall/winter) and wondering why they aren't going down there :P

It is! That's not the biggest that the flock will get, though; as fall goes on, they all sort of come together in an uber-flock of about thirty or so. Maybe a bit more, depending. They all forage together during the winter.
