I spent the weekend in Middlebury and environs too. Will have to check the mummy grave next time, when I'm not so tired and focused on eating cheese!

And your pictures are so pretty. I just moved from California further up north into an area that has true seasons. It's been quite a trip in the last few weeks to see the trees turning colors!

I lived in Florida for most of my life, so I know just what you mean when you speak of having actual, distinct seasons! Moving up north from there was very surprising to me. "You mean... you have seasons other than spring and summer?"
