DO YOU HEAR THAT FOLKS? YOU SHOULD RIDE WITH TARARARARARA! LEAVE FRIDAY MAY 21 IN THE MORNING FROM OTTAWA COME BACK MONDAY MAY 24 AT NIGHT YOU KNOW YOU WANNA. YOU DO. FRIED TURKEY@#!%@!
ahem.
what times/days/airports is that specTACularly priced flight? goddamn.
cicadas wont hurt you. killers wont hurt you if you leave em alone and stay in le tent. we have a tent, too, so no need to bring one. though i will vacuum & dust & mop & wash the sheets etc etc etc in the bedroom for you AND banish all cats for the whole weekend if you like. i will also provide claritin, two tabs on your turned-down sheets, like mints!
because hotels are MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, ick. (the most convenient -- though not the cheapest -- hotel is the courtyard, BTW. right across the way from the SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST WORLD HEADQUARTERS.)
Well if I remember correctly, all the flights I priced got in around 2pm on zee Friday. Can't remember the Monday one however.
OoO Claritin - my favorite! I usually come well supplied with anti-histamines. I will give the sleeping inside thing a whirl, should that not work, I will sleep outside.
ooo 2pm. thats pretty good, even if its IAD or DCA (BWI is never a problem but IAD & DCA are prone to rush hour craptastic crap). they couldnt be more different:
BWI: very convenient, often cheap, but often fucking crowded because convenient and cheap.
DCA: WARNING DO NOT EVEN GET OUT OF YOUR SEAT IN THE HALF HOUR AFTER TAKEOFF OR BEFORE LANDING EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO PEE REAL BAD because of stupid terrorists crashing planes into large buildings 2.5 years ago. nice view of DC & pentagon, though, and public transport's very easy from there so rush hour is more of an inconvenience than a big deal.
IAD: hellspawn itself, avoid at all costs unless its cheap and nowhere near rushour. (2pm on a Friday is OK. barely. and you've got to hope your plane isn't delayed and it doesn't take too long to get through customs, or you're looking at 1.5 hours minimum to go the 35 miles home. unless you want to brave a dizzying combination of shuttles, trains, and buses to get to silver spring.) yeah, hate for dulles.
that's funny when I was a kid I saw a dead cicada and flipped it over, there was a hole inside of it and out flew 2 of those yellow jacket wasps, they ate out it's brains and guts.

Anyway, it's not like cicadas can gnaw through the fabric of your tent to get in... OR CAN THEY?!
Hee hee hee.

That alone makes it worth the $144 they're asking. You can throw the bottle caps from the mini bar at them =)
