I was at 2.89, so well below average. The thing that bothered me was they didn't take your answers into account when suggesting things you can change. I can't compost my lawn clipping; I live in an apartment. Likewise I can't control the temperature on my hot water heater, or change the exterior doors or windows. Can't reduce the amount I use a car to comute since I walk every day. Bah, typical government, ignoring everyone who isn't a suburban homeowner.

HAHA. Well it was the "suggestion" page that got me. They didn't have those as questions in the calculator.

2.22 tonnes. this times the three people in my apartment would make a total of 6.66 (assuming they all walk everywhere like me). can't escape the beast.

I heard southern ontario has the highest rate of energy consupmtion per person compared to any place in the world. Probably partly because most of Canada's population is there. But I wonder if just entering that you live in ontario into the calculator affects the outcome. I haven't done the quiz... i know nothing about my house.
