I loathe April Fool's Day. If there was a day that I could have stricken from the calendar, tomorrow would be it.

The best defense, etc etc. Although I am not any more fond of ridiculous pranks on other days of the calendar.

According to some reading, it only appears to be valid until midday.

Unfortunately I think some people may have missed that memo.

On a separate note, I spoke briefly to Katie Santos about the assistant position in my office but she did not follow up so I had to turn elsewhere to fill it. However, if you are still trying to help her find a position, I'm certain I could get her an internship in the office.
