Brilliant! I loved it! I thought i'd be weird for me at first, what with that witch Nevan involved in the whole scene (and oh my do i Hate that b*** she gave me the hardest time during the game) but the awkardness was worth it, very nice idea Nero being a 'conduit' not unheared of i guess, but i had yet to see it on a DMC fic (and i've been hunting for them for a while) and i'm always struggling to find Good fanfic for the pairing, so Thank you! Can't wait for the next chapter XD The warnings did stress me at first, but i've read worst, it's devil may cry after all ^^;

Hee, this comment is excellent. Firstly, thank you! I'm glad the warnings didn't deter you. It's definitely not as gory as you'd expect, and probably won't end up being all that bad where that's concerned. And yesssssssss, there is absolutely *nothing* original about the Conduit concept but I've got to admit - I sort of have a soft spot for clichés when they're done well. So I'm really glad to hear that you think I did a decent job there. :D Working on the next part as I write this!

This is incredible. I really love how your writing is liquid and has a lot of movement to it. It definitely keeps the reader busy and intrigued. I had to re-read this chapter because I love it so much. You've done a fantastic job of portraying Nero in a manly light while still being infected with Nevan.
That sex scene was also well-written. I've noticed that most writers will break down and start getting sloppy with their writing during those scenes; you've stuck to the same tone as with the rest of this story. It's really fantastic.
I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am for the next chapter. I've been checking my LJ updates every day to see if it's been updated.

First off, a general thank you! It means a lot to me that you're following this so closely. I have to admit, I kind of loathe yaoi/slash in which one of the males is feminized in a way that is less with the kinky cross-dressing funtimes and more with the weird heteronormativity. They're MEN. Imho, just because one of them takes it up the bum does NOT mean he needs to suddenly be given stereotypically feminine traits. So I'm really happy to hear that I haven't 'girlified' Nero during this bit. :D

YAY! I'm working on the next chapter as I respond to this. It's still in the beginning stages and will be more action/plot-centric than the previous two, but I hope to have the characterizations flourish a bit more as well. :)

I'm so glad there is another person out there who thinks that, just because someone's bottom doesn't mean that they're girly. Not only that, but generally in m/m relationships, the guys switch off anyway. It's not just a one-way thing (although it happens).
And yes, they're still men no matter what happens. It's my ultimate biggest pet peeve when Nero (or any guy) is referred to as being effeminate. It's fine to make him a bit whiny and emotional (as he's that way in the game), but seriously. He won't cry when Dante touches his arse.

Anyway, I'm more than thrilled that you're still writing this. Action/plot are sooooo hot when there's smut involved.
