This was absolutely fantastic!

I don't usually read AU because I am such a stickler for canon like you won't believe -- and AU doesn't usually encompass the kind of things which make me so attracted to this pairing and to the characters. But you managed to encapsulate and reinterpret them in an extremely believable way. I loved the characterization and the dialogue -- the D/s and UST was unbelievably hot and the way you built up tension was palpable.

You have a wonderful talent for writing as well; there were a ton of lines in here that really resonated with me. These two lines, in particular, really stuck out to me:

He'd heard too much of what he did not want, touched, felt, seen and smelled too little of what he did.

And he'd tasted that pungent, bittersweet flavor, that fleshy, unsatisfying bite of what he could only call some new and uncontrolled beginning.What I felt was definitely the strongest aspect of the piece is how you write Sasuke's experience -- the sensory imagery, the way in which he perceives things that are

ha ha, I don't even know what to say. I love both of their characterizations <3 Sasuke's brittle need for control is almost painful to read, and I love the way Kakashi eases him through it. A little roughly, like he needs.

Dear god, your smut, it was just a paragraph or two, but... jeeez. *fans face* shaking, ruined and wet - those three words alone left me kind of breathless.

!!! Eeeee, er, wow. Whew! I don't think I can stress how relieved I am that this worked. The whole process of writing this made me extremely nervous, but Kakasasu is SO DAMNED ADDICTIVE. ♥ So much potential there. They complement each other in such a subtle, underrated way, I think, so I'm really glad that their characterizations read accurately.
