i love that you're a reader... he tells me all the time he wants to be a gold medal athlete.. and i think it's funny, but then i think about how the olympians are regular people. But then i think about how strong male gymnasts must be to do gymnastics, and to hold themselves up on the rings and do tricks... and my mind immediately is directed to lowell writing on his Nummi application "cannot lift more than 30 lbs".... gold medal, here he comes.

I don't like male gymnasts... female either. As I watch them springing around on whatever aparatus I can only think that in five year they are going to be blimps. Have you ever noticed how fat they all get after their gymnastics career (Mary Lou aside... although I believe she did have a "stocky" phase)?
