So this was a strange Halloween. It's the first Halloween where we had potential trick-or-treaters coming. So accordinly, we bought about 12 pounds of candy from Costco. About 4 pounds of it was consumed prior to Halloween of course ( Read more... )

Yeah my Halloween was pretty much over by tonight. I went to the dog and duck pub and talked politics with some people, but that was all. Today at work we had a costume contest, and people at Harcourt get really into it. The ENTIRE seventh floor was covered in purple and foil, etc. All I did was wear my Haloween tie and my hat from Wurstfest.

Yea, I've seen the whole "drive your kids straight to the door" shit before too, that's just pathetic. And if some kids came to my door without costumes, they'd get no candy from me. Of course, I didn't hand out any candy at all this year, costumes or no. Apparently, I've already turned into an old curmudgeon at the age of 23. Man, I hate kids...

I'll post some stuff about my rather interesting Halloween as soon as I have some free time...
