So about 2am while I'm reading something online, I hear a noise come from the ceiling fan. It sounds like the chains that dangle (the ones you pull to control the speed) had hit each other. Pretty normal for a fan, nothing out of the ordinary

You told me it took 2 cases, something seems fishy here...

To be honest, it was hard to know exactly at which point it died. The first blow was when he was near the wall and I used the DVD case's thin edge to try to crush him against the wall and break him in half. At this point, he started stinging the case and flailing around. I then got a second case and put it in front of him, then brought the two together so that his upper body got crushed.

If you think that the first blow of breaking his spine and trying to rip him in half killed him, it would be one case. If you think it needed the second case for the big squish, then it would be two cases.
