Hey there. It was so fun talking about jack/stephen, and I saw your note that you were inspired to maybe re-read some of the books, so I decided what the heck and friended you, because it'd be too easy to forget who it was or not have the chance to talk about it if I do the same thing. I also got inspired and am going to use some iTunes card $ to reload the soundtrack, since it got messed up.<333
No need whatsoever to do so back; I'm relaxed about all of that stuff.
Just thought I'd let you know, since I see you're taking a week off the internets omg I'm impressed!!
I just wanted to emerge from the self-imposed exile to say thanks for the add! As we chatted about protective!Jack/in danger spy Stephen, I've felt a craving and am now 1/3rd of the way into Treason's Harbour. It's an utter delight to revisit that book: fifty pages in, we get Jack disturbed by two tortoises doing it like they do on the Discovery Channel, then by the decline in his old captain, that he says aloud "How I wish Stephen were here." And we have the comedy of Stephen's diving bell, with Jack's dismay at Stephen's notion of parking it on the deck of the Surprise, as well as Stephen's ruined stockings when he goes down for his first dive. And I've forgotten the charm of all the minor characters, our old friends Killick and Bonden and Mr. Martin.
Sorry to gush, but I can't thank you enough for inspiring me to reread the novels. My internet-less week will go much faster!

Also, I'll probably take a year-long hiatus on this blog after graduation for employment/ethics reasons.
