I really like living on our acreage but the rural living does have some disadvantages. The worst for me is the less than speedy "high speed" internet that we have. It's much faster than dial-up but it doesn't work well for live streaming videos. (even short ones

Hope the tower will work for you. The slow connections or dropped ones are very annoying. We have the verizon folks coming tomorrow. We have dsl keep getting dropped. We are sure it's in their lines so we hope they can fix it.

It will be good for you to practice with your camera. Don't let anyone criticize what you do. I have a new little canon powershot and I am still learning. It's a lot different than my old one.

Have fun your new iMac. There will be some learning there too.

No news from our internet provider yet. I'm having a great time exploring my new Mac, but it will probably be a while before I feel comfortable with it. I have yet to determine if my camera can "talk" to my Mac. Hopefully by the weekend.
