Does anyone know if 98000 yen is enough to get me by for a week and a half in Japan these days? I'm planning to try to eat as little as possible, maybe go to a nice restaurant once, and then there's souvenirs...

It should be all right if you're not doing too much. ^_^

Well, the hotels and tickets for the trains and sights are already paid for, as well as breakfast and a few lunches. I also have my credit card that I can withdraw money from just in case. I hope it will be ok.

If the sights are already paid for I'll think you'll be fine. I noticed that they tended to cost the most money (1000 yen for a temple, 1000 yen for a castle, etc.) You can buy a meal at a convenience store for ~400 yen. Just be careful for souvenirs (so much nice things to buy...)
