I don't mind the Gratuitousness that much - it's kind of just falling into the graphics - something pretty to look at.

My complaint with the characters? Tira's Voice. Good god.

And I think the Voice issue was my fault. I should've realized what voice comming from my speakers meant - it meant that the wireless mic wasn't connected to the 360, but rather the PC receiver. It should work better next time.

Well, playing on either a Pad or a Joystick the controls were Perfect, The usual for Soul Calibur games. I managed to pick up the "Virtua Fighting 5" Branded arcade stick, and it cotrols perfectly. It's a Hori Stick, one of the best manufacturers for arcade parts, and the branding consists of a sticker sheet, so if you don't put on the stickers, it's not branded.

Any problems with command input are going to be due to my own ham-handedness, not the stick.
