thank you so much for all of your invaluable assistance!
i don't know how we could have done it without you.
so, perhaps we can find some time for that tarot reading this weekend out at the ranch?

Just saw your post. I haven't researched hantavirus lately, but having been engaged to someone that died from it ... here's my two cents. Last I checked, in 2004, HV wasn't *known* to be in this area of TX. (Assuming you're still in Austin.)

Having spoken with someone at the CDC, HV dies 3 days after leaving the rodent's body, and after exposure to UV light. If these were very old mice droppings, I wouldn't worry much.

If you feel like you have the flu, get to a doc immediately, making **sure** you mention moving, rodent feces and hantavirus. (His mistake was NOT mentioning that, they diagnosed him as having the flu, even though they should have known the symptoms without question, considering the area he was in.)

If you have a slight headache that turns to an astounding headache over a day or two's time, worry. A lot.

I cannot have two people that I've been close to in my life die of Hantavirus, mmmkay? (Looks bad on the resume.)

i trust that the new year is treating you well!
wishing you health, wealth, & good fortunes...

So good to hear from you and good to hear you're doing well. My Blessings to you.

Whereabouts are you living now? Perhaps a lunch could be in our future?
