( isn't it funny how questions of ethics so often return to the question of what we eat? )

minimizing pain, question, crowley, deed, shared pain is lessened, dr. temple grandin, slaughter, the covenant of survival, people, scarcity, patient, violence, answer, conversion, ghandi, hurt, petroleum, animal, gift culture, world, thought, some must die so that others may live, meaning, design science revolution, america, compassion, maxim, saint augustine, kindness, ethics, human, non-violent, resources, minimize the suffering, care, pronoia, ahimsa, ignorance, rabelais, harm, diet, pattern, conspiracy, suffering, creation or destruction, bdsm, industrial, food

strange how many of those thoughts have been on my mind lately. it seems making the choices necessary to reduce my imprint on the world, reduce my support for bad industry, are all so difficult! why can't it be made easier? i was just discussing with someone how i beleive the goldmines of the future will be garbage dumps. once we run out of oil, there goes plastics, and there goes so much else that has become a part of our lives...
