i think i actually first began to consciously realize this while i was reading Dune, when i was about 12 years old... although i certainly learned the absolute truth of it from a few mistakes in high school... our thoughts are the root of our actions, yet even the prescient are sometimes not able to see through a nexus of paradoxical complexity & catastophic chaos.

and even if we are adept at implementing our prescience, awareness of the truth does not necessarily allow us to change anything for certain... however, with such guidance, we may be able to influence a preferrable outcome from our options!
