You'll be fine. One of the nice things about cities that were more or less planned is that they tend to be laid out more or less in grids (I think Denver falls in that category...) It always amazes me how much sense it makes getting around in places like that. Just make sure you've got a good map.

ohhh yes, a very good map. maybe even three or four. maps are great, as are planned cities.
