Oh wow, I'd forgotten we were so close in age. (I turned 29 on Dec. 15th.) I referred to it as my first 29th birthday a number of times. I figure I'll decide whether or not I actually want to turn 30 once the date gets closer -- though lots of women have told me their thirties were much better than their twenties, so I guess I won't kick and scream too much. ;)

You're turning 29?? Holy shit. I think when my friends actually remind me of how we actually are getting older, it somehow always blows my mind. I figure someday I'll catch on to this aging thing :P
