Diagnosis.

This past year has been very difficult, especially during school. I have been constantly over-tired. No matter how much sleep I got, I never felt rested. That, plus being stressed about school, has caused me to be forgetful and irritable, as well as made it difficult to concentrate. If this has in any way affected any of you, I apologize. I've had similar sleep problems lately, though I don't know why what happens happens, at least I know why I'm so tired in the morning/through the day.

I've always kind of had a problem sleeping, though. Lately it's been getting worse, though. Not being able to sleep unless I'm physically exhausted, and waking up in the middle of the night to do stupid things, like get a drink, or go to the bathroom when I've never had that problem in my entire life. The waking up thing just started recently though, like within the past month or so.

But yeah, enough of me! Hope the meds help, dear. :)

By the way, have you gotten your phone back as of yet?

Maybe you should get a sleep study done, babe.

Do you snore? No, I'm not asking just to make fun of you. ;P

Usually just when I'm super tired, and I try to breath out of my nose most of the time anyways. I hear it's healthier.

That and I tend to always lay on my side, since it's really the only way I can fall asleep unless I'm cuddling with someone that isn't so warm it's like hugging a volcano.

ditto. and congratulations on finally getting a diagnosis. I've heard many things recently (coincidentally) on different theories on why humans sleep when/how they do. But I'm sure you've read it already.

Thanks. I've read a good bit of stuff, but I'm always open to more. Narcolepsy intrigues me quite a bit, especially since the field I want to get into has to do with neurology, and this disorder is (most likely) caused by the lack of a neurotransmitter that helps to wake the body.

Thank you. I'm sure it will go through, it's just taking another number of days after an already arduous wait. I'll live, and I'm sure the meds will come eventually. :/
