As a side note, that amp I was forced to remove was newly bought, a new 350W/700W (RMS/peak) Alpine that outperformed the 400W/900W Rockfords I compared it to. Fack.

you're trying to play Doom 3 on a LAPTOP??!? LOL. yeah good luck with that. i have yet to try it on the athlon 3200+/nvidia 6800gt/2gb RAM i got and still need to buy a case for. yeah. i'm gay. it ran swell on the P4E 3.0 i'm using now...but only with the shadows turned off. that turns the scariness down by a million percent though. i miss XMP. curses on the people who do not play it anymore...and that's everyone in the universe. *tears*

p.s. if you had a cheap-o FUSE on the red battery line to the amp maybe you wouldnt have killed your battery. and a capacitor. remember - it's only a dinky honda. japanese men don't have bass in mind when they design their shizzle. that's cuz their scrotums are puny.

Actually it's a fairly large sedan. :)
I don't actually think it's because of the amp having seen the repairs and rethinking it. However I am so impressed with the output of my rear 6x9s with the settings of the Alpine head unit.
The battery killing was AFTER the severe electrical issues, not because of too much draw from thw woofers.
