a wonderful weekend

Movies watched:
-Little Manhattan (sooooo cute)
-Millions
-It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World
-It Happened One Night
-Moulin Rouge
-Clueless
-High School Musical (for your own sanity, never watch the pop-up edition)
-The Wedding Planner
-Borat

Things acquired:
- 1 digital camera (finally, a camera with a flash!)
- 1 headband (because you can never have too many)
- 1 sweater (I love Old Navy sales)
- the new Peter Pan DVD (again, after-Thanksgiving sales are fabulous)
- 1 pair of tights (I haven't owned any since elementary school - this is very exciting)

Basically, a fantastic long weekend.  Saw Borat with Dan, Stacy, and Melissa on Wednesday after hanging out with Stacy, Molly, and Melissa at my house for awhile.  Thursday was the parade (the game was moved to Saturday) and dinner with the family.  I lost miserably in the basketball and ping pong tournaments, but didn't care much; apparently I'm maturing.  Friday was a lot of movie watching at home and fun with the usual suspects at night.  Apparently everyone loves our new couch, so my house was the place to be this weekend.  Saturday was some more lounging around, then picking Marissa up at the airport, eating at Cheesecake Factory (hadn't actually been there to eat a meal yet), then more hanging out on my couch.  Today I showed Marissa all the exciting places in New Jersey (which basically meant East, Beck, TBS, the JCC, Wahoos, several shopping malls/strip malls, and WAWA).  There was a lot of good food.  There was absolutely no homework.  All weekends should be that wonderful.

I'm going to have to start counting down to winter break.  Who needs homework when I could be watching every movie on demand on digital cable at home?

happiness
