I usually won't comment on your vegan posts because it's a personal choice of a diet. No different than being on an adkins low carb diet, low fat diet ect. But the content you posted on that site is insulting those of us who choose to meat meat, A choice diet that we made, as you made for your diet.
"Because it takes a small person to beat a defenseless animal ... and an even smaller person to eat one." If you're eating meat, you are paying others to commit acts so cruel that if commited against dogs or cats, they would warrent felony cruelty charges in most US states.I've never beat or abused an animal in my life. And you're trying to tell me because I eat a hamburger that I am a small person? Which in that comment, you are saying because you DON'T eat meat and I DO ... that you are ultimatly a better person. I honestly hope you don't believe that ... because this could get ugly. You support saving animals and the right to terminate human life instead. I'm just the opposite ... ask any normal minded human what is more

"Because no animal deserves to die for your taste buds" A Human being's desire for a momentary taste of flesh is not as important as another animal's desire not to be tortured and violently killedOk, Is a female's momentary pleasure and her convience more important than the responsiblity that comes with the act and more important than that human life? Because well ... this very statement can be applied to abortions. You support Abortion ... yet you do not support me eating meat due to partly this reason. So are you actually saying you hold animals more valuable than an unborn child? Because there is no having it both ways, you either are or you're not

Oddly, PETA didn't do their homework when they prompted beer over milk. We wonder how many vegetarians and vegans were influenced by its campaign without knowing of the other products that can be found in beer? You are probably thinking, "Wait a second. Beer for vegetarians and vegans? What? But beer only has water, malt, hops and yeast in it?" Wrong. Beer (and cider & wine) has everything from:
- albumin: derived from eggs or dried blood - casein/caseinate: derived from milk - charcoal: sometimes derived from bone - colourings: sometimes derived from insects - glyceryl monostearate: an anti-foaming agent that sometimes is an animal derivative - isinglass: swim bladders from fish - lactose and lactobacillus (lactic acid) - gelatin: made from bones, skins and tendons - pepsin: a heading agent sometimes derived from pork - sugar: white sugar is often whitened using bone charcoal
For the Record: Bush, Corona, nor Guinness is on the vegetarian/vegan safe beer list. So therefor if you are drink any of those beers, you are

As I was reading yout post Joe I was actually starting to think about how cruel it really is to kill animals for food, but the more I thought about it, I thought about all the other stuff that gets killed a day, and the first thing that came to my mind was abortion, and this was before I read Josh's replaies. Josh is right, how can you hold killing an animal in higer regaurd to killing a human being for anything less than medical reasons, and that doesn't mean that the child will be born retarded or something to that nature, I mean if the child and the mohter have less than a 1% chance of surviving the pregancy and delivery

I'm speechless ... never thought I would see the words "Josh is right" coming out of your mouth.
With all of that aside, this isn't about who's right and who's wrong ... with this reply to your comment I'm actually asking you to do me a favor. I don't expect you to comply what so ever, but there is no loss in the asking.
Someone has posted outragious things in my LJ. I'm not sure making fun of my baby sister dying is a topic for fair debate ... and I traced the IP of those who posted it. I'm quite sure I have one of the posts traced back to Laidley hall. I know without a shadow of a doubt it's MU. What I'm asking is that you go to my LJ and post something ... it can be anything. It can be a response to the things said or just a bunch of letters. That way I can see if everyone in Laidley hall shares the same IP or if I actually know who posted it.
I know that it's not about who is right and who is wrong and I guess a better phrasing of that would be that you have an excellent point and I agree with you.... no one is right and no one is wrong....
I wasn't attacking anyone. Funny how people love to be offended and get defensive, when someone simply says something about how they feel. You post pro-life shit all the time and I don't like it. Do I post a whole fucking essay about it? No. I let things go,because I don't get overly concerned about who's right and who's wrong. I don't have to defend myself here. It's my own personal journal and I'll say whatever I want in it. If you don't like it,don't read it. If I offend you and you don't like who I am,don't talk to me, plain and simple if that's how you want to be. You say I attack you. Really? well, that's funny, when did I come out and drop your name and talk about shit YOU have done? Never. I would understand If I personally wrote the article, that's fine. I found an interesting article and posted it because, again, this is my personal journal. I never have ONCE called you anything for being pro-life. I never posted in your journal attacking you. If something offends you in my journal just bite your tongue and chill. You're not
