help!

i need some perspective right now. give me some solid reasons why i should respect the rest of the people in this country. honestly. don't give me semantic formality or some kind of nationalist jingoist compulsion. i need a cogent, diverse, and arresting arguement. why do the people of america deserve my respect?

because its a fact that everyone around you is your superior in some way, and that is something to respect.

also, if you dont respect the people around you then you will become a miserable old man who hates the world and you will die alone. haha. if you dont respect people, then people dont respect you.

dont look at them as a stereotyped group but as individuals who have their own faults and strengths just like you. Hell, if we all concentrated on things that people did wrong and why we dont agree with them 100% no one would have any friends. and that would really suck.

I think that is an arresting arguement of why to respect the people around us. namely americans. hey we arent all bad.
thats also a good lesson in liberalism.
