This is totally not related, but I just realized you will probably love this site.

I recommend:

The Revolution of Everyday Life - by Raoul Vaneigem

Things like this make me wonder if things will ever be right in the world. You do what you can to make a stand on one issue and you turn around and atrocities like these slap your face.

i don't wanna sound like i don't think this is an important issue but this article is biased in that it makes it sound like you can't go anywhere in NY or NC without running into a foreign woman being forced to prostitute her body.
this article doesn't provide a solution or anything. it's just another article that talks about what's so wrong with our government and doesn't provide any solutions.

awareness has to come before resolution.

coming from someone who tried, maybe not succeeded but at least tried, to work for an organization that was all about awareness-you can't call it that and then present one side of an argument.
i'm sorry chris i'm just tired of reading articles and watching people on tv trash the government because there are problems with it. you never achieve anything when you spend all your time arguing with someone. i think you have to get out and try to change it. like voting. it's amazing how many people didn't vote this election because they didn't like kerry or bush but then they think they have the right to bitch about who got elected.
i also think deanna was right when she said it is a little tiring to talk to someone who feels like they know everything. or at least know almsot everything.
you're an awesome guy and an awesome friend to hang out with, but you're very condescending when you talk to people about their opinions and their beliefs

Here is a crazy thought.

Maybe.

There is no OTHER SIDE when it comes to slavery. And even more crazy, maybe most people don't know this shit at all. Hey, guess what that's not crazy, that's how it is.

Seriously, what the hell, Tex. Chris may be pretentious as fuck sometimes, but I am pretty sure this isn't above anyone with a fifth grade eduaction's head.
