You want to stick to High-Protein, High-Fiber, Low-Fat, Low-Sodium, Low-Sugar foods. Salmon, Tuna, Steak and Chicken are great for lunch and dinner, with healthy snacks throughout the day (few pieces of fruit, unsalted roasted peanuts)... I eat 4 hardboiled eggs for breakfast along with one of the bake-at-home bars from Matisse & Jack's... Then I have a grapefruit an hour or so later... and then a cut up apple dipped in the new Dannon Fit and Trim (or soemthing) yogurt... Lunch is grilled chicken with steamed veggies, usually a banana and some peanuts a little later and then after work I hit the gym, come home to a protein shake with a banana and a handful of nuts blended together... Dinner tonight is Steak, steamed veggie (I like the birdseye steamfresh stuff since its easier), and a portion of fat free cottage cheese. Sugar-Free jell-o for dessert and then about an hour later a multi-grain fat/salt free rice cake with natural unsalted peanut butter on it and a glass of skim milk ( ... )

no problem! if you have any questions i can try and answer them too :)

my trick is to go food shopping on sunday and then I spend an hour or so cooking chicken, steak and salmon for the week. I use a george foreman and just do different No Salt Added spices on the chicken and cook away. All I have to do is reheat at work or at home :)

I've lost nearly 30 lbs just going to the gym and working out. Alot. I started doing about 20 mins of cardio, then strength training, and then added 10 minutes to the cardio. The more cardio, the better. I do about 40 minutes now, and will be working up to 50 soon. I do it 3 times a week, but again, the more cardio the better.
I eat whatever I want, just stop when I'm actually satisfied instead of stuffed.

Just for reference, you want to keep your base cardio level at 30 minutes, minimum. You really don't start to burn fat until after 20-30 minutes of cardio anyway, and if you're doing strength training after cardio, i've found 30 minutes is ideal. The biggest thing in cardio is to do different speeds and varied terrain (the settings on the machines) so that your muscles dont get used to one.

Also, for you, if you want to try some awesome cardio, try a spin class if your gym offers them. I tried it and can't go back to regular cardio... one 45 minute class is supposed to burn something like 500 calories. :)

well if you're not used to working out (I had never done it like that before and it had been years), they often start you at 20, so you don't hurt yourself. This is true, though, you don't burn fat continually at that...

Eh, personally I'd say you're better off spending MORE time, but at less strenuous settings. My Physical Therapist was saying that he sees more people injured from over-extending their ability when they come back to the gym than just about anything else.
