1. My car got broken into on Monday. They stole the CD player. She should be fixed by Tuesday, at the earliest anyway. Not having a car is actually very strange now. I was quite upset at first, well, very. But then it made me feel quite materialistic because it wasn't like anyone had died

I was pretty upset about Taty too when she got injured, mind you I was pretty terrified in case my father shot me and it was my own fault for ramming her into a bollard. It's so horrible being without a car, isn't it? It feels like I've lost half my independence.

And yes, being sans car is terrible, I never realised how much I relied on it! She should be back by Tuesday though, when will Taty be back from the car hospital?

I suppose I know what you mean, it'll be nice to know one way or the other. I'll probably get blown up on the Friday flying to Disney anyway so it doesn't really matter!

Still don't know when I'm getting Taty home. And even when I do she needs her MOT doing. My poor little car.

Girlfriend in a Coma is a very, very odd book. I did enjoy it hugely, though. I remember not getting much sleep on the last night I was reading it as I was determined to finish it!

It's horrible when one's car is damaged. I hope your insurance compensates you thoroughly...

Your insurance company would be absolute bastards who would be operating outside the law if they made you pay excess. This isn't your fault, and so you should not be penalised for it...
