Okay, maybe that's not really well hidden because it is right next to the Anglican cathederal, but I have never visited there and it isn't like one of the main attractions or well known places. It is very quiet yet so beautiful, I went there for the ( Read more... )

It's not Newcastle, it's Liverpool :) I've never been to Newcastle actually, I hear it is nice. The north of England in general is very pretty and often forgotten because of London so it has lots of little gems!

No no I said Newcastle but I meant Liverpool. I know you live in Liverpool since you've often posted pictures of it. I OFTEN use a word for another one when I write in English. Sorry about that !

I really loved this post. My best friend recently moved over to Liverpool to do her first year residence as a dentist. She works somewhere in the Wirral but lives in the city centre, right by the docks. When I went over to visit her last, we did the usual Beatles places and hung around town for a while but ended up in a pub (Heebeejeebies I think it was called) - which although was fun, was not inclusive of the cultural day we had planned! I will definitely remember this place when I next go over. It's hard to find things to do in a city you're not familiar with, but your insider information is great ;)

Lovely pics, you have a good eye!
