Hey, I just joined. I have a question, my bestfriend (who i also have dated and am very in love with)  is in Afghanistan, and I'm going to send him a package. He asked me to send him Puppychow, which i'm going to do, but What else should I send him?

Thanks,
Allison

Since January. He was home on leave 3 weeks ago though.

I was going to say if he has been gone for a while, sometimes things that he might have run out of are good. His favorite shampoo (my boyfriend is really picky about it), razor blades (yes...he's picky about those too!)...

Also, the other poster said something about the gatorade mix, those are great! There are TONS of flavors in those drink mixes now.

that stuff looks good, but i would worry a bit about sending anything with chocolate there. between the temps and the inconsistency of mail, it could get messy. on ideas what to send him though, here's a few of things that have been requested of me:
Gatorade powder, kool-aid etc.
Junk food-chips and microwavable popcorn...
Razors-they didn't sell the kind he likes where he was

Hope this helps. Good luck!

My fiance told me that if ever gets sent back to send him vienna sausages and beanie weenies. I'm not sure if you're familiar with those things but they're popular in the South. They also come in individual cans so they're easy to send.

I sent my boyfriend Peanut M&Ms and homemade cookies and he loved them. Hje said that they would get there and the M&Ms would be fine and the cookies would be just like they had come out of the oven. I also sent Visine, Koolaid singles, Deoderant(My guy was super picky about that), a towel, ummmm granola bars, popcorn, just about anything. Make sure when you send cookies or puppy chow though that you double/triple wrap it so that no sand or w/e gets in it. I would also send it Priority(if you dont already) b/c it will get there the fastest...(one of mine was less than 5 days).

Umm..music! My boyfriend looooooves music, and I really think that's the only thing that keeps him sane at times. Oh, and pictures. I went to the zoo (don't laugh too hard) a few days ago: and I just sent him like 20 pictures of some of the stupid stuff we (two of my friends and I) did. I really think he'll get a kick out of some of them. Hope that helps!
