Hello! My name is Cortney and Im new to your group. I wanted to join in hopes that I will meet someone else who is currently in Okinawa, Japan or has been there. My husband is a Marine and we have orders to move there in April 2008 and will be stationed there for 3-4 years. Any pointers about the country, living there, etc are GREATLY appreciated. Hello!! My name is Allie and my boyfriend is in the Air Nat'l Guard in IL. I have never been stationed in Japan, but I've been there and I can speak some Japanese. I will also be going there for a year in 09-10 to teach English to Japanese elementary children. If you have any questions about the language or culture over there you can ask me questions.
