In an effort to draw myself out of my personal pity party, I am opening myself up to prompts. You give me an idea, I write something (drabble, or short story, mess of words). Characters, themes, words, I'll give it my best shot.

Ooh YAY. Um um um. I am never going to be able to come up with anything as good as your prompts, but here are a few:

- Jo and the PM's son! (What do you mean I stole that off your last post? Lies.)

- Nicholas Brocklehurst in Russia, pre-Washington or post-Washington. I don't know which is more intriguing...

- Sandflies

- Chinese New Year

- Crews finds out what happened to Reese's father (Clue: I don't think he's dead. But you might.)

- Scully and George Blake deal with being awesome redhead ladies at the Bureau.

I completely second belantana on Crews finds out what happens to Reese's father. This is such a good prompt that it has put all other Life ideas out of my head.

These are excellent, but I must admit I don't remember what happened to Reese's pop, at all. So I'm off to Hulu to bone up on "Life." Guess it wasn't sucha fair game fandom after all, as I seem to have forgotten an essential plot point!

He disappeared sometime in series 2 and it was thought he'd done a runner, then in "One" when Nevikov has Reese tied up he drops some hint about having killed her father. But I totally think he was bluffing!

Am excited about whatever you come up with. I forgot to mention that I am also way excited by the prospect of original fic, if one of the prompts happens to lead in that direction.
