It turns out I've got bronchitis, and it's not keen on leaving anytime soon. Quite fond of my lungs, it is. The bronchitis led me to my first experience with the NHS, and my prescription was free, so that was all good.
The mountains really are amazing. When you live in a city it can be quite easy to forget that there is land beyond it; Belfast doesn't let you forget.
Another great thing about this place: in half an hour you can be in the mountains or at the seaside.
Terribly excited about the fencing and riding!

Mountains and ocean! Is it good swimming? I now fully expect you to ride a horse along the beach with a sword, ok? I'll charitably wait til you're better first.

Swimming is probably out of the question - it was -6 last night! The surfing is supposed to be quite good though!
I'm on the mend and will hopefully be having fun down in Dublin OR hiking in the Mournes this weekend. Yay! I live in Ireland!
