This project is on indefinite hiatus. I apologize to anyone who found these useful, but I lack the time and the love for White Collar and the patience to put up with the rudeness these transcripts and my presence in this fandom tend to bring forth in people. Wow, thank you so much for your hard work! It's really very useful.
I have to ask, would you consider doing a transcript of Tim & Matt webchat from 3 month ago? :)

As to the webcast- I had considered this. And I admit to being on the fence about it. It seems like quite a bit of work with minimal payoff given that the webcast remains viewable online and does not need to be referenced for fan fiction. Is there a particular reason I should take into consideration in favor of transcribing it?

Well, there're probably very selfish reasons:) I'm from Russia, and I know quite a few WC fans who'd like very much to watch the webcast, but they don't speak English. If there was written version, we who understand English could translate it, but it's very difficult to do this aurally. And I saw somewhere in LJ comment from French (I think) fan with a same question... so international WC fans would get a benefit from it, I think.
But anyway, I understand that it is hard and time-consuming work, so don't mind me - thanks for all great work you already did!

This was a reason to transcribe the webcast that I wasn't previously aware of- thank you for bringing it to my attention. I would be more than happy to transcribe the webcast as soon as I finish transcribing season 1 episodes.

Ooh! Transcripts! How cool! Thanks for doing these. It's always great to have them handy as a canon resource for fic authors.

Out of curiosity are you using .SRT files or typing them all by hand while listening?

I do type them all by hand- I started this project long before the SRT files were available.

But .srt file is available in a few hours after new episode is aired *is confused*. Here they are - http://www.addic7ed.com/show/659. There are usually a few bugs, but 95% of dialogs are correct...

I was not aware of this site. Thank you for providing a link. I'm not sure as though I'll use it, I'll see how it goes.

Also- I have not forgotten about my promise to transcribe the webcast. I have transcribed the bulk of it, a friend is now looking it over for errors. I hope to be able to post soon.
