Gobs of stuff happened yesterday, but I was tooooooo tired from lack of sleep (I haven`t slept properly in over a week) kept me from blogging yesterday. This`ll probably be a long one.

Let`s start at breakfast yesterday. I ate the three-day-old donuts. They were good. Tasted just fine. Maybe the humidity kept them moist because it was yummy. > ( Read more... )

Book-off was fab!! I only got 4 books, but I`m sure I`ll go back before I leave. Most of the manga is 105 yen, but of course I mangaged to buy some that wasn`t. >.< I forgot to look for Hetalia! I`m too scared to ask them if they have it, so I`ll have to just look for myself... do you think it would be under `Axis` or `Hetalia`? I need to find out the name of the publisher...

They arrange books by publisher in Japan, so it would be best to start with that. Then if I remember correctly, they follow the "A,I,U,E,O,KA,KI..." way of alphabetizing. The Japanese title is "ヘタリア Axis Powers," so check out the "he" section under that publisher. I just checked it out and the published is 株式会社幻冬舎, Kabushiki-gaisha Gentōsha, though it might just be under Gentosha. Hope that was helpful.

Ah, one thing.
The kanjis of Mushi-atsui and mushi(insect) are different.
mushi-atsui：蒸し暑い
mushi(insect)：虫

I couldn`t really believe it, either. I`m so lucky to have gotten to see it! I seriously wonder if I`m the first foreigner that`s ever touched it. Probably.
