Why do I think there's a "trust ritual" (wink wink nudge nudge) to go through when you visit the Kylarians? And why do I think Teyla has told Sheppard and McKay about it, but Ronon doesn't know? Why, why? *g*

I have a real soft spot for fics from Ronon's POV. This is a great one. I love his observations of Sheppard and his confusion over why Sheppard and McKay are always joined at the hip.

I really like the observation about Ronon being the blunt instrument and Teyla the sharp knife. McKay would be the most puzzling to Ronon, especially since he didn't meet him in the beginning--the other's easy acceptance of his place would be confusing to someone who hadn't witnessed his surprising bravery.

I'm tracking this down to recommend it, and I wanted to know how much I liked it. The exploration of team dynamics, of Ronon's attempts to understand McKay, are really fabulous. I love the way you conveyed Ronon's confusion - there was a hint of peril, and the way it resolved was terrific.
