Well I can't really pretend any more that other people are tricking me into watching the Olympics, since last night pretty much of my own volition I watched three hours of male figure skating instead of writing my personal statement (I liked the Japanese skaters, so graceful! and also, the Americans. Oh indeed, we will watch more olympics together, although possibly not tonight. it is ideal, because my other area of Winter-Olympic expertise is which sports have cute athletes. Heh. (as in, you heard my opinions of skaters last night? I have those for every sport except luge and curling. Luge because they go to fast to notice and also lie down for their entire sport, and curling because I never look at the players, just the brooms, which are way more exciting than the people holding them.)

Yes, turned out that my revisions were not as brutal as I expected. So I still have some work to do, but nothing sweeping and serious.
