I changed my LJ layout! Take a look! Merlin fans will be glad to see my header is now Bradley instead of Jensen! XD Although I did make it myself so it's not very good (and I already noticed a mistake I need to fix). Nevertheless, Bradley is always pretty. Yes, siree.
I guess while I'm here I shall give my thoughts on a few shows..
Merlin!
Now, it's no secret that I'm not an Arthur/Gwen fan (understatement) so I was pretty much dreading this episode. That being said old!Merlin made me SO SO glad that I watched it (as if I ever wouldn't). Colin, you are amazing! So funny, so well played and just HILARIOUS. I have no idea how anyone managed to keep a straight face when they were filming those scenes. Also, I have to admit that even the Arthur/Gwen stuff was played better than we've seen it in previous episodes. I will never ship them but it wasn't *as* bad as I thought.
PLUS! We still got some little Merlin/Arthur bits thrown in there... Like Arthur's desire to go far away, live on a farm and TAKE MERLIN WITH HIM. And the fact that Arthur recognised Merlin's eyes. Well of course he would! the amount they stare at each other :P
Supernatural
I don't think I've actually posted about season 6 at all!! I'm enjoying it! Is it the best season ever so far? No. But there have been a couple of very enjoyable episodes (6x03 and 6x04 in particular imo) and some very interesting happenings.
I have to say, personally I'm enjoying soulless!Sam. He just.. baffles me, makes me laugh, makes me angry and makes me despair all at the same time and I think Jared is actually doing a good job of playing him this year (and I'm not one to normally think much of his ~skills)
Crowley is AWESOME! And I think the direction they're going with him this season has a lot of potential considering his past relationship with the Winchesters and the parallel between him as King of Hell and Cas as Sheriff of Heaven. I think they could have some fun with that.
Speaking of Cas, yes, I would like to see more of him...I will always want to see more of Cas but I'm also glad that (at the moment) it seems he has something of his own storyline going on. I just hope that we actually get to SEE it this season unlike the god search that happened entirely off screen. As for Dean/Cas OTP forever there hasn't been too much to work with *sobs* and Dean continues to treat Cas like crap but nevertheless there have still been a few cute moments..pouring the drink, standing very close together (of course) and not to forget PROFOUND BOND so I most certainly have not given up hope and still ship them like crazy *g*
The Vampire Diaries
This show! THIS SHOW! Every episode leaves me all open mouthed and WHAT! I can't believe they did that! Damon killing Mason in particular was so shocking!! I still love him though of course..he's just so.. Damon-y. Oh, and when he told Elena that he loved her and then made her forget *sobs forever*
Another thing with The Vampire Diaries is that I ship almost everyone! Caroline in particular.. I ship her with Stefan, Tyler and Matt! Who I do not ship, however, is Jeremy/Bonnie. Bleurgh! Bonnie's generally quite annoying and Jeremy should only be with Tyler *nods* Hehe.
Also, I've recently been growing increasingly attracted to Stefan. Mostly since him and Elena split up. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it but that's when I noticed. It's funny because I used to say that he was the only guy on the show that I didn't find attractive and now.... lol.
Anyway! Wow, this has turned into a bit of a long post so I shall leave my thoughts on Fringe and other things until later.
Sorry I've been rubbish at commenting on entries. I really will try to do better :) I've also just realised that I never even made a post about Asylum 5 (Supernatural convention) so I might do that at some point too, if I can remember anything.
