Am I gonna be lonely for the rest of my life?

No guy has ever brought me flowers. I find that somewhat odd and very sad. I was watching a movie and that thought hit me. I've been given candy by a boy or two, but never flowers. Not even a long-term boyfriend, which there aren't many of. I don't really like flowers, but it would still be nice to get them from a guy once. Or even twice.

You know, I've heard that before. And it may be true, but when you feel the way I've been feeling, even when you think you've stopped looking, you still are subconsciously. So, I really don't see it happening...

Hi, i dont think you remember me. I met you with Orly one night at dinner. I stumbled on your post and I have been feeling similar to what you wrote. Its so hard not having that someone who you know cares for you, or is going to call you, or will be there when no one else is. Ive had a bad streak with girls and it just ends up hurting when its not what I think it is, or feelings arent mutual. Everyone says not to worry about it, and someone will come along but it still hurts. Its hard to stay positive when you dont know which way to go or how to fix this feeling. I guess it sucks to be young. I am hoping for the same thing and hopefully it will stop being so hard. I hope your not weirded out by this, but i think i know how you are feeling and i am sorry.

No worries. I'm not weirded out. And yes, I do remember you. It's something that a lot of people go through, and I just don't get why so many have to feel this way. I know it's normal, but I still hate it. I guess we just have to try and stay somewhat possitve and look towards the future instead of looking to the past...
