I can't believe that the twins are already seven! It was so lovely to see an update of this fic; it's everything that I wish that Bill and Laura could have had in canon, a loving family, a healthy marriage, and their extended family as well.

I really loved the opening scene with all the children taking a turn to climb into bed for one massive cuddle session as a family. As well, I really appreciated the backstory that you gave Ruth and I love that she got to tell her own tale to the kids. They have such a special relationship and I love reading about it so much. :)

I'm so glad I had a teeny part in inspiring this! I adore the idea of Bill and Laura is this huge family bed of their brood. Bill is being the father he never had a chance to be in canon but wanted to be. I love Ruth's backstory so much, and it feels right for an explanation about why she stayed on with Joseph and his new family. The dagger story is lovely, if chilling.I love the pride she takes in her work :-)

Sephie...that onsie was on the money, I suspect. Mars help them all when she grows up.

I don't think I've ever read an A/R fic that had a scene centering around baby farts :-) How familial of you!

I never get tired of this 'verse. I love all the people inhabiting it so much.

I loved this idea so much when you first suggested it to me -- I wanted to write it, but I had to write a bunch of other fics first to get the twins old enough!

Yes, that was a cheap shot at Isabelle's expense. Poor thing. :)

Where does the time go, just a while ago they were being conceived, now they are SEVEN!!

Oh I love the family bed! We had to move into a king when our 3rd baby came and we all slept together:)
It's a fond memory and I'm so glad we had that time... But I'm also glad to have our privacy again!
The couch and guest bed were nice rendezvous spots but its fun to wake up at 2 am and not have to sneak downstairs;) (they stayed in our bed till 4, 6, & 6 years)
