They should have left that lion cub with its mother, no matter how "precious" it may be. But Japan sucks about animal rights anyway... (TT)

I guess they could have left the cub with its mother, but zoos are dreadful places and keeping the cub away from the visitors is also a good thing. These animals are so rare that they'll need to breed them in captivity before even thinking of reintroducing them in Asia.
