Should toddlers get flu shots?

I'm due to get mine next week. I wonder if toddlers need one?

They've been recommended for everybody around here including kids. I think they can have them from age 6mo and up. It's supposed to be a bad flu season this year. We're going to get Thomas one.

Last year, Felix was nursing, so when I got mine, he effectively got my antibodies through me...but this year, I want us to both get one. They are predicting a bad season this year.
