S2 style question

Does anybody else seem to have trouble with this new 'style' that Lj has? Everytime I try to read somones page that uses this new style system, the pages scroll so slowly, and there is a bunch of hestitation... It is very aggravating, and makes me want to just close down the program ( Read more... )

I'm not a big fan of them either, but I was never sure why...I also thought things seemed draggy, and figured it was because I have a TV thing playing on my computer now, and so it does make things slower and "skip" more.... maybe it's been LJ all along??

Not to mention that the new style has writing that is so small, I almost need a magnifying glass to read it....

I don't think it's S2 in and of itself. Many who go with S2 also use lots of pictures on their page and that will slow things down, but I don't have any trouble even when I am on dialup. I seldom go to anyone's journal, but read from my friend's list.
