[Anyone wandering through the forest near the village might notice Yue in a nearby tree, with a journal in her lap. She's dressed up in the standard new feather garb, and it looks like she hasn't woken up just yet. Of course, that doesn't last terribly long

[Sokka was just flipping through his journal and about to close it when that latest page he suddenly heard his name. Not only that, there's something hauntingly familiar about that voice. Like the kind he sometimes hears in his dreams at night. He tentatively opens the journal again and plays the message again. That's his name, but that face...

It can't be.

he knows it's possible. He's even thought about the possibility before. But somehow... he just never thought it ever would.

His first attempt to say something isn't even audible, so the first sound that comes through is a cough.]

... Yue?

[Yue pushes herself up on her knees - her body aches all over, but thankfully that fall didn't do that much damage.

Her head snaps up when she hears her name, however. There's no mistaking that voice.]

Sokka! Where are you? [And where is she?]

[It's not entirely the same voice. Close enough, but it's had two years to deepen and lose the squeak.

However, he finds himself unable to answer for a moment because he's still just floored that she's even here. He quickly snaps to attention. She's in trouble. He needs to be there for her.]

I'm [at home?] in the village nearby. I'm... I'm talking to you through the book. But I'll find you.

[Book? Yue looks around, and...oh. There's a book. Hesitantly, she moves to go and pick it up, although she's still having a hard time processing all of this. None of it makes any sense!]

I'm in a forest, but I don't know how I got here. [There aren't any forests in the North Pole! How did this even happen?]

What's going on? Is everyone alright?

[The flood of New Feathers seems to be petering out, but since Rokuta didn't really need the excuse to be out wandering the forest anyway he's still out and about and "patrolling." At the sound of first the cry and then the landing he'll be heading over to investigate, riding on the back of a three-tailed wolf.

Yep. New Feather.]

You okay...?

[after_themoon]

[That's...a very large animal. Certainly nothing like any of the creatures in the North Pole. Still, this person - whoever they are - is asking her a question, so there's no point in delaying her answer in favour of staring.]

I...I think I'm okay. Thank you.

[Rokuta slides off his shirei's back and moves closer, frowning slightly with concern.]

You just got here, I'm guessing....

Yes, I should be alright. [She's sore, and she'll definitely have some bruises, but she's not seriously injured.]

I... woke up in a tree, but I don't know how I got here. [So, yes, she's a recent arrival.]

[And sometime after Sokka started talking with Yue, Katara picked up her journal and began paging through it-- and she does a double-take, gasping.]

Yue?

Katara! [Yue will refrain from asking what's going on, since Sokka already filled her in on that... although it's still fairly confusing.]

You were brought here, too? [Sokka had said they were all okay, but "we" could have referred to anyone who was currently in the Northern Water Tribe.]

[Oh wow. And she thought things were awkward when Jet was brought here.

She really hopes Sokka manages to keep his foot out of his mouth.

Poor Yue.

Just... wow. Katara never thought she'd see you again, Yue.]

[ voice ]

[Katara's voice is gentle, but there's some joy in it too. Yue's had her admiration for her bravery and self-sacrifice since the North Pole, after all.]

There are a lot of us from our world here. There's - a lot to tell you. [Pause and she reviews what she can see of Sokka and Yue's conversation... ] What's the last thing you remember before you woke up here?

[Voice] Moon and water, yo. I had to send. XD

Are you alright?

[The voice sounds politely alarmed - and Ami is taking advantage of a pause in her trip to check the journal when she hears Yue's voice.]

I think I'll be alright. [Just some aching over the next few days and some bruising here and there.] Thank you.

[Well, that doesn't sound good. Then again, it's the standard reaction for most New Feathers, go figure.]

[He's referring to Sokka, of course.]

[What? ...oh. Right. Yue had said his name while she was waking up, didn't she?]

Yes. I... guess you could say that. [They're definitely friends, but with everything that was going on before she was summoned here? It gets fairly confusing.]

Well, he can't be too far. Sokka's been here for a while now; he'll probably catch on soon enough.

I hope so. Either way, I'll do my best to try and find him. [And generally come to terms with this whole situation, because it's pretty crazy.]
