I haven't experienced that w/my friends, but I've heard from a lot of women whose friends reacted in various ways. In this case I'm not sure whether she's really pulling back or whether she doesn't know what to say or what. It's hard to say!

If I were you I'd probably just ask her straight up what is up and/or tell her how I'm feeling. For me it's like cold water... best to just jump in and get it over with... :)
