First day of 2010

Today was a good day! The weather was great outside. I didn't get to spend much time outdoors but I could still feel the "vibes" of a beautiful day.

I had to work today from 10-4 at the local grocery store. I work there three days a week. It's just a temporary job until I can find something that will support me living on my own with my daughters.

My mom & dad went to see It's Complicated - they loved it (didn't mention anything about boom mics, so I'm assuming they didn't notice.) Don & I were supposed to go see it as well, but he wanted to watch the Rose Bowl because Ohio State was playing. Today he's repainting one of upstairs bathrooms (for the third time - as I keep changing the color scheme. ) Hopefully I get a chance to see the movie before it hits cable. :)

I hope for your sake (and your kids) that the back and forth will smooth out soon. As I've never been in that situation, I won't be much help with advice. But hang in there - and be strong.

Yea, those moments of unexpected free time, i remember those. Keep a book with you all the time. It's what I did. Still do. It's kinda cool too because I have an app for my phone where I've got all my scriptures right there, so i can just whip my phone out if i forgot to bring a book with me and spend some time in God's word.

I think you are inspiring in your courage and keeping going and wanting to include God in your journey. I admire the way you are coping and of course you have to handle times of feeling alone. May you know that God is very close to you at those times and knows you and loves you.
