No worries! trust me it sucks when you are there I remember those same feelings and wishing I could get somewhere it took me a while but with all the changes that this company has gone through its hard to stay possitive and then the backstabbing and stuff the highschool stuff is why I got out of Managment there. I completely understand and dont let me hold you back I just want to make sure you have money for a nice wedding! *hugs*
Be thankful you have at least these things. There are jobs out there where you work long hours, odd hours, without steady employment, doing very physically demanding stuff, and without any sort of medical benefits. Jobs where calling in sick is not an option. Jobs where "vacation" and "retirement" and "weekend" are not part of your vocabulary. Jobs where you pay union dues to a union that does nothing to support you in any fashion. I would know.
I also know what office politics are like, as well as annoying co-workers, and corporate BS. But trust me... there are MUCH worse things to be putting up with. By all means, look for a new job that suits you better, but you're a tough chica... Stick this one out until you find a better fit for you. :)
I put my resume out to about 10 different places yesterday and have heard back from half (setting up interviews). My mom is taking me to a business seminar on Thursday.
I'm doing everything I can to get out. I'm hoping I can dump AT&T before fest..that's my goal.
Best of luck to you. You're a smart cookie. And a pretty one too. Somebody will have to hire you sooner or later. There is no such thing as corporate integrity anymore, but it says a lot about your character if you can keep your cool long enough to step out gracefully. That, and you wallet stays full between jobs. :)
anyway, I am majorly looking...this weekend is devoted to that. I hate corporate environments...I should've thought about that before accepting the job, but I didn't.
I told myself if I couldn't get the P&R job, I'd start looking...I'll talk more about it at Marie's on Friday if you're there, if not, we should do coffee anywho.

- You have a job
- It's steady work
- The job does not put you in any physical danger
- You have medical coverage
