fest update pt 3
Dear god...it was hot...
Saturday
I got on site fairly early. Got to cast call...w00t! marielouise00 and I got gems! rock on! That felt really good.
I took off running after the town crier for calling the Medici "nice". it was amusing, especially since I was eating while doing so.
I did alot on Saturday and was fairly entertaining.
Sunday
man...the heat started getting to me on Sunday. I almost went down before vil and realized I was NOT sweating, went to Kat's booth to cool down, headed to vil. slickjohnnyp was in the audience so I wanted to play. I felt like utter shit before my match! no really, I felt like I was going to pass out or vomit...which I was going to warn BJ about when I got on stage...
however, since I get fairly nervous each time I vilify...I started sweating again. the adrenaline kicked in I think, cuz during/after vil I felt awesome! getting mobbed for trading cards is always an added bonus :)
I opted not to do parade as I wasn't sure I could take it without passing out.
after hours was pretty fun. went to Pagoda which as always was a good time.
Monday
So, with the combination of nearly going down the day before...lack of sleep...and girly time starting...I was a bit more catty then normal yesterday. I still felt on as far as performing went, vil rocked for me on Monday! no really, I had an absolute blast both days I vilified. I cannot believe how successful the cards are!
I made Lady Spicer almost fall over laughing at court dance with some of my snarky comments to my partner. note: The Medici that is on royal court (can't remember his name off hand) is way too much fun to play with!
some random notes from the weekend,
~I still don't like closing gate. yes, I left early as I was feeling pretty cruddy from cramps yesterday.
~When turning a person in a dance and they say "ow ow ow...you're turning me the wrong way!" don't say "I don't care"...it's a good fucking way to completely piss the other person off...needless to say my rotator cuff is really sore today because somebody was being stupid yesterday.
There's more, but I wanna' go read some Harry Potter and such.
