I'm going to spoil myself.

I am going to head out of fest a little early this Friday, so I can treat myself to a showing of Across the Universe
I have been following this movie since January, I have been going crazy about seeing it. I keep seeing previews, it looks amazing.

so yeah, that's all I've got for now.

Go to a matinee if you can. The movie pretty much stinks and going earlier will leave you feeling less ripped-off.

see, personally...I have heard the covers and think they're good. I also love anything set in the 60s...plus it's Julie Taymor. I already know a ton about the movie and am completely stoked about it.

I can't do a matinee because I need to be at fest at 12:30 for my show.

No, I'd agree. On paper (and in the trailer), it looks fantastic and like you can't miss. But I'd recommend managing your expectations. This movie really does stink.

I do respect your opinion, but I will form my own...which is what I tend to do with movies anyway.
