That Professor Godot's background doesn't quite check out. Would you mind doing a reading on him?

Yes. You have to.

Does anyone else find it strange that so many of our new staff members this year were formerly Aurors? It is quite interesting. I wonder what brings them here.

Actually, I participated in the military a while ago. I wouldn't say I'm an Auror. Regardless, you are very astute for making such an observation. I am not sure of the answer to the question, but if I come across it, I will be glad to discuss it with you.

Hmm.

Professors Tilman-Sinclair, Matsumoto, Mustang, Hawkeye, and Hughes all appear on Auror registration lists from the past few years. Even the Slytherin ghost was an Auror, though many years ago.

And you were in the military?

Hmm.

While I may understand why this may be of concern, I am sure it is just Headmaster Cid's way of putting security into the minds of the parents at the school. I know many of these professors, and I have not seen Auror-like behavior other than being protective of the students.

I was, but I wasn't involved with the bureaucracy or the paperwork. I was a ranked General on the front lines. That's all. However, I resigned my post after a while.

Your writing reads as though you have something on your mind. What troubles you, young lady? I want to be a source of help to you.

Yes, surely that is all.

Simply the burdens of schoolwork, I assure you, Professor. If I am ever in need of information, however, I shall go to you.

It might be an explanation for several things.

Private to Galatea

If you would?

Obviously they feel Hogwarts is just bursting with criminals-to-be and dangerous individuals!
My suspicions are directed toward the third years... For such small people, they are quite questionable...

The third years? What about them makes you suspicious?

Hmmm~ It is hard to pick what it is exactly...
Maybe it is their general inclination towards mishcieviousness. I saw two of them without their school ties done all the way up the other day! A clear sign of wrongdoing if ever one was to be seen.

They should still have some in stock.

//Private to Miria//

Also, does this have to do with your theories? The number of Aurors that are teaching?

It is hard to keep them in stock when you eat them all.

Private to Helen

I am not certain. It could be coincidence, but I'd like to check it out anyway.
